Following the movie, season 2 of the anime, which aired from October 10, 2021 to November 28, 2021, retold the events of the Mugen Train arc over seven episodes. The Mugen Train arc adapted chapters 54 to 66 of the manga.

Jul 2, 2024 · Season 2 of Kaguya Sama: Love is War has ended. Compared to previous episode this episode was quite underwhelming especially for a last episode. The episode was not bad but Ishigami’s arc was very heartwarming and emotional.
Jun 17, 2024 · This is an absolutely masterfully written romcom. The characters are, for the most part, superbly well written with Kaguya, Shirogane and Ishigami being the best ones so far in the anime (though Iino and Maki are definitely contenders later on in the manga).
