Jan 9, 2024 · Vodafone won't allow you keep their legacy box, which previously allowed recording. Sky don't allow recording on Stream, but you don't want a dish. Your preference for Sky or Vodafone only has ruled out Eir TV on the Apple TV 4k box - the only Streaming platform that currently allows unrestricted recording of UK channels, and also supports apps such as Now TV, All4 etc.
Can Anyone confirm what the current settings for vodafone FFTH(openeir not SIRO) are. I have a virtual pfsense firewall and getting different answers in different threads on boards some say username is vodafone@vodafone.ie, other says router Serial Number, others saying you need to contact vodafone to get it.

Vodafone TV is great ... quality is fab and the tv box, while not "cutting edge", is 100% adequate and fast (much much better than the Virgin Media TV ****e Horizon box we had before). Just works and has some good features .... gopher it - but as sais, get a good broadband connection.

Vodafone Ireland at the moment only does an e-sim as replacement for a physical SIM to be used as sole connection on a number, single SIM, used in one device. Apple Watch (and Samsung Watch) require a different type of e-sim which is a companion to an existing sim commonly known as MultiSim. So, while e-Sim is available on Vodafone Ireland ...
Jun 3, 2023 · Vodafone uses a legacy proprietary box with a hard-disk, and requires a wired connection for the main TV box. Additional Multi-room boxes can be wireless, but there is an additional monthly fee. Eir do not charge any additional monthly fee for multi-room, if you buy additional Apple TV boxes yourself.
May 5, 2019 · In case anyone else comes acrosss this, bridge mode works using PPPoE with your own router with DSL connectivity over fibre. I used the Username vodafone@vodafone.ie and password doesn't seem to matter. I had to set the MSS to 1452 on all interfaces too setting the MTU to 1492 on the PPPoE int didn't suffice. 1.
I recently got Vodafone siro installed having been with Virgin media for the last few years. I have the new gigabit modem that I'd like to bridge to my netgear nighthawk r7000. I went to the Bridge Mode page on the gigabit modem and selected "Legacy RG IPv4 Mode" (the only option) and rebooted the modem with the netgear modem attached.

Nov 14, 2005 · Vodafone UK unlock it for around £15 - £20 and it takes two weeks approx!!! Otherwise loads of un official places here and in Ireland. It will work here you just need to change the settings to VF Ireland. I had a VF Motorola V980 in UK got it unlocked and used it here with VF Ireland SIM ....all 3G stuff worked also fine.
