Sep 23, 2024 · A town under the spell of the uncanny. As if children didn't already seem like aliens to adults sometimes, this is taken to the extreme in this small but precise English horror movie. With staring eyes and a deathly pale face, children take cold control of the village of the damned. A timeless flick that succeeds in creating an eerie atmosphere right from the start.

I enjoy Vampires, but Ghosts of Mars has never sat well with me. Village of the Damned is like mid-tier Carpenter.
