Having recently retired from 25 years of selling Detectors /Coils and other accessories, i will now continue with a mainly information based site, i will in time be doing loads of tests e.t.c , once i have finished testing a detector i will put it up for sale.
Staffordshire Metal Detectors was created in 2000 from scratch as an extension of my hobby of metal detecting. Most dealers at the time were mainly selling new detectors , so i decided to specialise in second-hand detectors.

MINELAB GPX, GP, SD SERIES -15'' X 12'' MONO COIL. Used once. Minelab Commander 15" Mono Search Coil. The 15 x 12-inch Monoloop coil is sensitive to small gold nuggets, has greater depth on larger gold and better ground coverage than smaller coils.
Pros. Well balanced beach detector Waterproof. Cons. Not great performance. DEPTH TESTS. The depth tests are set up to gauge the power of the detector, all iron is removed from the hole. Various size items are buried at good depths. COIL SIZE. Standard.
