I have no clue what this is and have never been in debt with my energy gas or lec.. I am on pre payment metres and have never had a bill for my metres.

Two weeks ago I was able to log in to the Scottish Power website to check my readings and also see their comparison graphs which enabled you to see the current year's usage (in either £ cost or kWh used) compared to the previous years and also to the previous 3 years usage for both.

After giving the readings, I given a prompt that indicated my monthly direct debit would be reduced from £120 a month to £100 a month - but surely ...
Mar 4, 2023 · Second, I was under the impression the smart meters would be sending readings to Scottish Power, which would register on my account. Looking at my account, the last readings were received on 18th February. I contacted Scottish Power, and they said my meters were set up to transmit readings every 30 minutes.

The first one was taken when I logged into my Scottish Power internet account on 1/11/11 and the second was when I logged in again three days later on 4/11/11. The whole of my account history going back 6 months or more has changed.

Feb 27, 2018 · 27 February 2018 at 9:42PM. As it's only been 6 months, they still have another 6 months in which to set you up with an account and issue a bill. Once the 12 months have passed, then you can probably expect the free power for the past 12 months, though this is by no means guarranteed - it's only, I believe, a code of practice.
