  1. The movie boasts several magical sequences, like when Roz touches a butterfly-blanketed tree and the myriad insects explode into a swarm of color and scintillating beauty, or when Roz teaches young Brightbill how to fly down a leaf-covered stonework runway, or when Roz holds onto a tree with one arm and leans out over the edge of a cliff to watch the migrating geese fly away into the sunset.

  2. Positive —Robots was a good film that the family would enjoy on a Friday night together. The story was nicely put together, the plot had some problems, but overall it was good. Robots kept you concentrated on the movie because of the flow with the storyline.

  3. Jul 16, 2004 · Despite a lot of violence between both humans and robots, it was a good movie. I especially liked how they went in depth to why Will Smith despised almost all robots. Even with some language throughout the movie, it was a good movie. I recommend the movie! My Ratings: [Excellent!/5]

  4. Mar 6, 2015 · Positive —The movie was amazing. The CGI was top notch, even better then it was in the past two movies (“District 9” and “Elysium”). You tend to forget you’re seeing robots that aren’t even on screen. The story, I thought, was very well thought out and had many twists. I’d see it again, for sure.

  5. Jul 2, 2007 · Once your kids see this movie they are going to want to play with Transformer toys, Legos, and all other sorts of toys that enable them to build robots like they saw in the movie. They will fantasize about other worlds that are not in the Biblical account of creation and believe that robots are created with life in the same way God made man.

  6. Jun 27, 2014 · Although this movie has its moments, it is mostly just an overwhelming sequence of collisions, explosions, and destruction. The violence certainly earns this film its PG-13 rating. The battles between the Autobots and other Transformers are intense at times, involving a great deal of collateral damage that frequently consists of the destruction of cities and the death of humans.

  7. Feb 12, 2014 · One thing the movie is true to is the corruption of the police in Detroit, which is sadly a reality today, and I only counted two good cops (including Alex) throughout the whole movie. Although the movie is by no means “family-friendly,” I was amazed at how devoted the wife was to Alex, despite his cyborg form, and she even speaks out for her husband’s rights on live TV!

  8. Jun 29, 2001 · Movie suggests that robots can become as precious as humans. Cryonics, praying to a fairy and reincarnation are accepted and undisputed themes . As a born again Christian, you know this is all bogus but Spielburg still gets you emotionally exhausted because of the parent-child relationship issues.

  9. Jun 17, 2022 · Neutral —The introductory text before the movie begins tells you that this movie is “old” and is meant for adults. It says the Toy Story movie (with the resulting Buzz action figure) was introduced based on the character from a sci-fi movie… which is obviously older than the original Toy Story, so it makes sense that it would be dull when compared to the blockbuster sci-fi of today ...

  10. “The Emoji Movie” voice cast of features T.J. Miller as Meh, James Corden as Hi-5, Anna Faris as Jailbreak, and a host of other celebrities, including (embarrassingly) Patrick Stewart as Poop. In a year where Oscar nomination talk is already being stirred up for his supporting performance in Logan, this Stewart voice performance might wind up being in a Razzie-nominated movie as well.
