Team USA opened its 2024 Olympics with a convincing 15-6 win over Greece, and Princeton's two Olympians each played a role in the tournament-opening victory. Two-time Olympic gold medalist Ashleigh Johnson' 17 was back in goal for the United States, and she made 10 saves in just over three quarters of play.
Johnson finished her Princeton career with a 100-17 record, along with a school-record 1,362 saves. She was the first player in Princeton women’s water polo history to be named first-team All-American and the third ever to be picked as All-American in each of her four seasons. Johnson made 10 saves as Team USA defeated Greece, 15-6, on July 27.
2 days ago · Kareem Maddox ’11 and the United States men’s 3x3 basketball team broke through with a 21-19 win over France, sparked in part by Maddox’s diving rebound to gain possession late in the game. The U.S. continued its run with a second win later in the day, beating China 21-17. Maddox had 10 rebounds against China.

Liam Johnson — the 2022 Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year — has committed to the UC Berkeley Golden Bears. The senior linebacker will be using his final year of eligibility to play in the Bay Area under head coach Justin Wilcox.
