3 days ago · Red Hill Nature Reserve offers fantastic views over the Lincolnshire Wolds by day and some splendid views of starry skies by night. A small car park gives access to the 27 hectares of reserve, once a chalk quarry. The location is managed by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. Open at all times.

This route takes in a mix of paths, tracks and roads. Please take extra care on the road walking sections and at road crossings.

Oct 26, 2024 · Belchford and Tetford Circular. This is a nice trail that links explorers to ancient Viki while providing beautiful views of the wolds. The path through the small villages may be difficult, so keep an eye on it. Some beautiful bridleways and a route across farms near Tetford.

Oct 7, 2024 · Getting there. The Lincolnshire Wolds is a bit out on a limb. Louth is a 4.5-hour drive from London, 3 hours from Birmingham or Manchester. Market Rasen, on the Wolds’ western edge, is served by trains from Leicester and Nottingham; otherwise the closest stations are Lincoln, Skegness and Grimsby.
