On MSE I found a recommendation to Kent Reliance Fixed 1 year ISA which we signed up to all good, got the email with how to pay in, did as instructed and Barclays promptly stopped the payment cried fraud and told us to call them (we missed their call).

Jan 8, 2024 · We applied for AIP with Kent reliance , it went to underwriters, but was approved in the end. Since then my husbands credit score is jumped to Excellent ( 980 out of 999) and mine to good. We have now applied for a full mortgage offer - passed initial hard credit check on 23/12 , then broker said affordability and Valuation was fine too.

Little bit of a timeline : 27/12/23 - Applied for a full mortgage 04/01/23 - additional documents 16/01/23 declined 27/02/24 - re-applied 08/03/24 - offer received

Jul 17, 2023 · I'm attempting to get the wheels in motion to transfer out of my fixed rate ISA with Kent Reliance which is about to mature but am stuck as I can't find a sort code for the account to complete the online form for the new provider - just have an account number. I've tried calling them but am stuck in a queue - I have no patience!
Nov 16, 2022 · daveb975 Posts: 169 Forumite. 16 November 2022 at 11:59AM. I'm currently attempting to open a new cash ISA with Kent Reliance and it is proving very difficult. The website is very poor, the telephone wait times in excess of an hour and the advice when you get through is wrong.
Aug 8, 2012 · I first invested savings with Kent Reliance in 2007. Back then they appeared efficient, people were contactable, I was a happy customer. I recently wrote to KRBS to withdraw an amount from my account. The reply I received stated a cheque had been sent under separate cover. When no cheque arrived I called KRBS Customer Services.
Aug 3, 2012 · A dposit was transferred direct by bacs from my bank. My building society then transferred a further £7000 to what I thought was my new account , however, it turned out to be a 'holding' account for Kent Reliance . 10 days and several phone calls which all go to an Indian call centre the money is still missing.
