  3. May 24, 2024 · A brand new TP-Link extender shouldn't have any preset passwords. You set your own passwords during the the initial setup. If the extender was in use before, but you have now forgotten the password, then just reset the extender by pressing and holding the reset button and all passwords will be cleared.
