Help me download apps for BB Classic. I recently bought Blackberry Classic just to relive older days. I am trying to make use of it to the fullest. I am trying to get some applications for messaging, browsing web, youtube and other essential apps which would be helpful in day to day life.
You're probably not going to have a lot of success getting ANY of those apps to work on that device. Ok so here's how I do it at least. For BB10 apps you can enable Developer Mode and use Sachesi to sideload the .BAR (s), no idea if you can do that for APK (s) For APK (s) you can install them directly from the device.
Regarding the apps, make sure it is an older version with support for android 4.3 or lower, that’s pretty much always the issue, either that or the app relies on google services (such as embedded maps) which the blackberry android runtime lacks.
Jun 5, 2024 · Taskmanager let's you Force Stop these apps so that if your not going to be needing them they are shut down totally. You can still find Taskmanager in the Play Store and should work cause it's for older devices.
