Sep 21, 2012 · Gumtree is good for large collection only items. Your buyers will most likely be local. You can offer smaller items on gumtree and offer to post, but tread carefully. There is a lot of scammers on gumtree. I would avoid selling expensive electrical items, mobile phones, jewellery etc.
Feb 13, 2017 · With Gumtree I have managed to change my primary email address so contact from my adds is ok. But my login email is still the freeserve one and emails from Gumtree themselves still come through on that one. I cannot find any way to change it. Can anyone offer any help, or is it a case of unsubscribing and setting up a new account. Thanks.

Gumtree is a scammers paradise with sellers taking bank transfers and then disappearing, just do a Google search. It is no longer on the gumtree website as they only keep adverts for 60 days after expiry. Is there a way to see the old advert?
