2 days ago · Use a feeler gauge between the rocker and the shaft mount. Figure what you need for closing the gap. You can use shovelhead rocker shims. You put them on the non-thrust side of the rocker shaft which you can determine by looking at the shaft mount. You will see the wear marks on the thrust end. Allow for 0.004 clearance.
