Apr 26, 2017 · I was trying to watch a channel 4 programme, but the thing kept stop-starting, and this problem got worse as the programme went on. By about 30 minutes in it was almost impossible to watch, as it would play ok for about 4 or 5 seconds and then stop for a few seconds, then re-start again.
Oct 22, 2023 · I've got a 2020 model LG 65 inch C series OLED that has never had ch.4 app. When bought it only had BBC app but STV ,ITV, C5 apps appeared later. It would later switch itself on at all times until 2023 when it had a big upgrade and fault stopped. Its never had CH. 4 app, but the 2021 models had all the TV apps.
Jul 8, 2014 · I can confirm the site works fine with chrome once my own adblocking extensions have been set to whiltelist https://www.channel4.com The reason I suggested a different browser was because the chances are only the one used will have been set up with adblockers and is the easiest way round the problem for non-technical folk which anybody asking this question probably is.

Jun 22, 2011 · - I'm not sure about Downloading but I have a shortcut on my desktop to click on to 4OD (=Channel 4 On Demand) and you can then select and watch previous programmes - I think in a similar way to BBC iPlayer.

Aug 10, 2000 · I brought Channel Five up on the on-screen navigator and saw the red "R" symbol beside the programme name that usually suggests the programme is recording. I hit "record" on the remote, which got rid of the symbol; changed channels and then changed back to Channel Five, hitting "record" on the remote again seemed to start it off recording properly.
Dec 15, 2020 · Hi, I hope someone can help. I have always been able to watch the above channels but I tried to watch a program on Channel 4 yesterday and it said I had an ad blocker and needed to disable it for Channel 4 to be able to watch. I tried ITV and that said the same.
Jan 27, 2013 · For what it's worth, I raised this will Channel 4 at the end of 2011, with quite a reasoned complaint thanking them for the effort they put into getting their channels on Freesat, but stating how much the lack of Accurate Record was letting them down due to missing the end of programmes.
