Jul 9, 2023 · It looks like Realtek Audio Universal Service 1.0.616.0 and 1.0.617.0 causes no sound output device after reboot. And Windows Update treats it as a mandatory driver update. Glad you could find a temporary solution; it is possible to temporarily suspend Windows Update to prevent installation of faulty drivers and use the default drivers provided by Acer as a workaround.

I got this laptop (Asus TUF F17 FX707ZM) around December of 2022. It was working great. It came with Windows 11 but I had to swap SSDs so I installed Windows 10.
