I served with an AB Dabber on the Roebuck, who legend has, was the guy who smacks his head coming up the brow on the opening credits, he was a baby gunner on his first draft. We watched it in the mess one night and took the p**s out of him for hours about his haircut and the enormous flairs he was wearing.
Jul 8, 2010 · Ark Royal Communicators held their annual reunion at the Union Jack Club 10-12 September. Honoured guests were our old Captain Wilfred Graham (Big Wilf), FMAA Tom Wilkinson and REM John Pooley with Little Wilf. The skipper arrived around 1830 Friday and was met off the train by 3 of our members.

I served at Pompey Patrol in '69 with Scouse Gandy when he was a L/Reg, he is in Spain running a bar. Ben Nevers is back at sea as a civvy security officer on fanny boats. FMAA Tom Wilkinson is in his 70's and extremely well.
