Sep 21, 2023 · That's 100% normal. The people of Nova Scotia are known for being extremely friendly generous and welcoming; it has been my experience too. BUT, this province needs better service, health services are hard to access, and services are bad. Taxes are indeed high, but the level of service doesn't reflect it.
Jul 13, 2022 · Good in Halifax -Dingle tower on NW arm (free) -Duncans Cove/Chebucto Head (free) -Georges Island -Cidatel Hill -any beach -take the ferry to downtown Dartmouth for views and photo ops. Bay of Fundy at Burnt Coat head or Maitland wharf behind the convenience store. Highlands are great but far from everything else.
But if people across Nova Scotia all decided they were not paying their power bill and cut it off 1 of 2 things would happen 1: they would get prissy and grovel to lower the cost of power or they would simply just shut down the Nova Scotia division however the latter is the better option of course. 1 0. If you're going to the Annapolis Valley at all, take a stop at The Lookoff just north of Canning. Get off the 101 at Exit 11, head north through Port Williams and Canning until you see signs.
