Jun 14, 2024 · Dunnottar Castle - Stonehill. Come and explore Dunnottar Castle! a great Castle in Scotland. A path descends the cliffs then climbs up to the castle from a small car park. Standing on a rock almost surrounded by the sea, it was a well fortified and protected structure, in fact the name "dun" is Pictish for fort. This is a great Castle in Scotland.
