First one was my fault, second was some muppet kid in his dad's Corsa pulling out in front of me. Very impressed with how they followed the whole process through. Posts: 11,721.

Comparison sites showed LV higher than my renewal qoute. It also showed Direct Line £ 40 cheaper or the same price as LV if I lowered the excess down to £ 100. I rang LV and asked if they would ...

Nov 18, 2021 · 18 November 2021 at 5:20PM. My Wife's car insurance is due for renewal and she received a letter from Direct Line saying they won't be offering to renew the policy. When she rang to ask why, they said that the underwriter's terms had changed and they no longer cover this type and age of vehicle.
