3 days ago · The times I've used FCPX and Avid and Premiere, you couldn't rename source files directly from the application, either. I think it's dangerous to do so for a lot of reasons. Just change the metadata and one of the descriptive fields as a sorting/search tool.

Jul 29, 2024 · You could just swap that out with another image of your choice by naming the new image the same and replacing it. (Note that you’ll have to replace it every time you update Premiere Pro.) In this screenshot I’ve used a Premiere Pro logo made semi-transparent in Photoshop as the watermark.
