Good thing I got to bitch about it almost 10 years later :) Anyway - I also remember that the game was beautiful in VR, and it was interesting to play, so kudos to the devs for that. I remember especially a switcher locomotive from the beginning of the game that looked phenomenal.

In the opposite end of the room from where you entered is another door. Head to it and go outside, cross the stone bump and you'll see a diver with a rifle. Collect the rifle to get the achievement.

Originally, when Witchfire Early Access started, the higher the player level, the more difficult the game got. On paper, this made total sense. You get better, the witch starts to treat you seriously and throws more and more powerful undead at you.
