Set or change the passcode. Go to Settings , then depending on your model, do one of the following: On an iPhone with Face ID: Tap Face ID & Passcode. On an iPhone with a Home button: Tap Touch ID & Passcode. Tap Turn Passcode On or Change Passcode. To view options for creating a password, tap Passcode Options.

Or tap Passcode Options to switch to a four-digit numeric code, a custom numeric code, or a custom alphanumeric code. Enter your passcode again to confirm it and activate it.
On an iPhone or iPad. On the family organiser’s device, go to Settings > Screen Time. Scroll down and choose a child’s name under Family. Tap Change Screen Time Passcode, then tap Change Screen Time Passcode again. Then authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. Enter a new Screen Time passcode, then enter it again to confirm.

If you have to change your email password, you’ll need to do that with your email provider (for example, Microsoft 365, Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, Xfinity, or a corporate Exchange server). Then you’ll need to update the password in Outlook, the program that displays your email messages and allows you to read, reply to, and organize them.
