Jan 29, 2009 · UPDATE After lengthy calls to both Nextel and RIM, it seems this phone cannot be unlocked. So They Say! After my conversations with RIM, they explained the phone was locked to Nextel, by RIM. This is the manufacturers normal procedure. And only Nextel can unlock it. RIM even spoke to Nextel on my behalf, to no avail. My conversations with Nextel.
Jan 28, 2009 · Nextel has there own software on that phone/ it's locked to nextel you need a 3rd. part to unlock the phone so you can connect it to telus. Telus introduce the 8350i on there web site on the 27th. been to several stores and get anyware from "2 months" to "will be in next week" I'm wateing and hopeing it will be soon
