  5. You'd be well advised to read the original book and read up on Hunter S. Thompson before watching the film adaptation of Fear and Loathing. But given how tricky the film must have been to script, it does capture both the dark and the amusing sides of the original, and is very quotable. As your lawyer, I advise you to watch this film.
