Jul 4, 2012 · Take a look at the charging port inside the playbook, the piece inside needs to be level. You need to use a small metal object to make the piece level in the center. This worked for me. The trick is to always keep the blackberry symbol facing upwards, if it is put down, it ruins the alignment of the piece again!

If it all won't power up, try stack charging. Plug it in for two minutes, unplug for ten seconds, plug back in, repeat, repeat, repeat...
Dec 26, 2014 · With the screen light on, it does show the lightning bolt while charging with the phone on. So something is amiss. I am now going to stop the charging while the phone is on, turn it off, and see if it actually will charge with no indicators on. I will try the hard reboot first and see what happens. The hard reboot did nothing.

Jun 19, 2018 · Try holding both volume keys together for 20 seconds and see if that'll work. If that doesn't work try holding the power button (button on top of phone) for 20 seconds. unfortunately pressing the buttons did not work. I forgot to mention that the phone dropped on the floor. It has no visual marks.
