Oct 23, 2023 · My two Gmail accounts also work fine in Mail, its only iCloud mail. In Mail when asked for my Apple ID and password It says enter valid ID and rejects my valid account name & password. When entering my Apple ID I receive an Apple ID Verification code on my iPhone but no place on my computer to enter that code.
