Given that Total Recall and Robocop (one of my absolute fav movies ever and Verhoven's masterpiece--yes over TR and ST) were both remade, I can say that TR was the better of the two by far. Who knows however. If the Robocop remake hadn't been severely mucked with by the suits, maybe it could've been as good as TR.
