May 31, 2024 · Wyze Plug Outdoor fails to complete the set up process. The connection times out. Troubleshooting Steps: Check that your phone / tablet is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. This Wyze device does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi connections. Make sure your Bluetooth is turned on during set up. Reset the outdoor plug if it continues to fail.
