Jul 21, 2015 · Ron was extremely nice (can't be emphatic enough about this) but quite a flamer in private. Geary was a personality-free ass hat--he would be courteous but he made it clear it was work for him. Also a bit queenie when powers that be weren't around but not to the extent of Ron.

Mar 20, 2023 · Hal Linden and the entire cast was fantastic (and yes, Max Gail had the best ass on TV, though Ron Glass was pretty attractive also). I think I read that Linda Lavin was the only female detective the show ever had but was only there for a few episodes in the first or second season before leaving to go do "Alice" on CBS.

Nov 4, 2015 · Was thinking the same thing R3 --- but both Hal Linden and Ron Glass were actually pretty attractive too. Always being in their police detective suits didn't help. Certainly didn't want to see Abe Vigoda or Steve Landsberg or the Asian guy in a police lockerroom .....but Gail, Glass or Linden would've been fine.

The two-part episode with the hot racecar driver starred somebody who IMDb tells me is named Peter Jason. He was indeed quite sexy...way too good for the ginger Muppet.
