Feb 11, 2020 · In Windows 8.1 in Microsoft Edge Browser, I have successfully changed my default search engine from MS Bing to DuckDuckGo. However whenever I open up the Browser, it always opens to MS Bing search engine first, and I must click on the little house (home) to the left of the search bar in order to go to the DuckDuckGo default search engine.

Nov 12, 2023 · When downloading from the browser on my desktop I would get roughly around 25 Mbps. I tested my internet speed with the Ookla internet speed test and got an average on my desktop of 170 Mbps on wifi and with ethernet I got around 340 Mbps. But I only got 25 Mbps when I tried downloading from the browser. The browser I use is Google Chrome.
