   The airport Aircoach stop for Teminal 1 is less than 5 mins walk as your leave the main airport building. It is to the left hand side as you leave. There is a kiosk right beside the bus stop that sells tickets or you can buy on the bus. A return from the airport to Dublin O'Connell Street is 12 euro's for an Adult.

I plan to take the Aircoach on a weekday morning in late August from Terminal 2. I'd rather puchase my ticket on arrival, but their website suggests their buses may be full.

Instead, you could try the busy and slow number 16 Dublin Bus route. You have a very short walk to your hotel if you get off the number 16 at Whitefriar St stop. Reply.

   Is Aircoach a good transport?

   • Aircoach is UNRELIABLE transport, if you move by schedule. I do not recommend it as a transport to airport or train connection. I took the 704x bus from the dublin airport to Cork and it was an overall pleasant trip. Aside from departing about 15 minutes late, the bus was clean, quiet, and had restrooms on board.

   Why did you choose an aircoach?

   • The main reason we chose this was because we wanted to save money instead of riding a taxi / cab, and also didn't want to use the public transport where it needed for us to change buses before we can get to our destination. The aircoach allowed us to be able to stay in 1 bus and get to our destination safely.

   Is Aircoach licenced?

   • Aircoach is licenced by The National Transport Authority (NTA). Suggest edits to improve what we show. Dublin to Belfast (Black Cab), Dunluce Castle & Giant's Causeway. Traveling from airport Dublin to the centre was easy and nice - bus stop is just next to the main exit from airport, you get ticket on a platform. We bought a return ticket.

   Should I use Aircoach If I need a taxi?

   • Apparently their drivers don’t know how to take alternative routes. Don’t use AirCoach if you are needing reliability. We booked the Aircoach 700 bus from Dublin airport to the city centre online to O'Connell street. The Holiday Inn Express was ideally placed for us. Only 20 euro return seemed a bargain compared to a taxi.

   Does the Aircoach have WiFi?

   • The aircoach has plugs for you to be able to charge your smart device. I also noticed that it mentioned WiFi but I didn't get to try it out. So might be good to check it out. There are other airport shuttles available at the airport. However, this was the one that seemed to have more stops and able to get us to the stop that we needed.

   Is there a private coach service from Dublin Airport?

   • Re: AirCoach or Dublin Express The Dublin Express is a very reliable private coach service. Its Wellington Quay stop is about 10 minutes' walk from your hotel. As others have pointed out, the no. 16 city bus service from Dublin Airport stops within 2 minutes' walk of your hotel.
