The UNESCO site includes the archaeological area of Piazza del Foro square, Capitolium temple, the Republican sanctuary, the ancient theatre, the Roman Basilica, and the monumental complex of San Salvatore – Santa Giulia.
- Brescia’s Castle.
- Queriniana Library. The most prestigious Brescian library owes its name to Cardinal Querini, who founded it in 1747 in the Bishop’s Palace in Via Mazzini – which is still its current location.

- The Roman Tempio Capitolino. Built in AD 79 under Emperor Vespasian, this temple was excavated at the beginning of the 19th century from the earth that had been poured over it by displacements from the Cidnéo mountain (of the castle).
