When Mary PIckford's marriage to Douglas Fairbanks fell apart, she increasingly turned to her friend and former co-star Buddy Rogers for support. He proposed to her and they married in 1937.
From 1937 until her death in 1979, Rogers was married to actress Mary Pickford. Rogers was rumored to be bisexual and had an affair with Gene Raymond who was married to Jeanette MacDonald. [1] Rogers died on April 21, 1999 in Rancho Mirage, California at the age of 94. [2]
