Aug 7, 2024 · The Hawthorns is located on the A41 (Birmingham-West Bromwich Road). If approaching from outside the area the ground is about half a mile from Junction 1 of the M5. On leaving the M5 take the A41 towards Birmingham, the ground is on your right.
The terracing at the Birmingham Road and Smethwick Ends was replaced by two new stands, completed in 1995 at a cost of £4.15 million, though roughly half of that figure was funded by the Football Trust.

The Hawthorns is located to the east of West Bromwich town centre. The A41 runs from the middle of West Bromwich to the stadium, passing Sandwell Park Golf Club, and continues on towards Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
