  6. GCSE exams are timetabled in common exam slots agreed by all exam boards under the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ). Each exam must be taken on the day, date and at the time shown on the timetable. The published starting time of all exams is either 9.00am or 1.30pm.

  7. Centres may change the starting time of an examination within the scheduled morning or afternoon session without notifying OCR, but candidates must start morning examinations no earlier than 8.30 am and by 9.30 am and afternoon examinations no earlier than 1.00 pm and by 2.00 pm.
