Aug 16, 2024 · When you’re first learning to play the guitar, it’s tough to know where to begin. As a guitar teacher, I recommend beginners start with super easy guitar songs that only have a few chords. These types of songs are perfect for building confidence and fundamental guitar-playing skills.
- “Horse with No Name” by America. Chords: Em, Dmaj9/F# This song is a fantastic choice for beginners because it uses only two chords throughout the entire song and there is no need for chord changes.
- “Wonderwall” by Oasis. Chords: Em7, G, Dsus4, A7sus4. Number 2 on our list of easy guitar songs, “Wonderwall” by Oasis is a great choice for beginners due to the song’s simple chord progression and its slow-paced strumming pattern.
