Bryan Adams' backing band is a group of musicians who accompany Bryan Adams both in the studio and at live shows. Instead of a rotation of session musicians, Bryan Adams prefers to have the same musicians for all his studio and live work.
A constant backing band started to form in 1981 during the work on Adams' second album, You Want It, You Got It. On many the tracks of this album, Adams was accompanied by drummer Mickey Curry and keyboardist Tommy Mandel. The two eventually became regular members of the backing band.
Bassist Dave Taylor and guitarist Keith Scott, who had already worked with Adams in the past, joined the band for Adams' third album, Cuts Like a Knife. This line-up was retained until 1998 when Mandel and Taylor left the band.
