An observer on a hypothetical planet orbiting Vega would see the Sun as a star with a visual magnitude of 4.3 located in the constellation Columba , the Dove.

It appears that the star has a low abundance of elements, with a higher atomic number than that of helium. Vega will become yet again the northern pole star, but this will happen in the year 13.727. Vega has only 500 million years since it took form.
This is 60% larger than the radius of the star Sirius, while stellar models indicated it should only be about 12% larger. However, this discrepancy can be explained if Vega is a rapidly rotating star that is being viewed from the direction of its pole of rotation. Observations by the CHARA array in 2005–06 confirmed this deduction. [12]
Jan 31, 2019 · Vega also exhibits an equatorial bulge, but in the star’s case, the bulge is enormous — enough to seriously distort the star into an ellipsoid. This shape comes from the star’s rapid rotation: It completes one rotation every 12.5 hours, more akin to Jupiter’s 10-hour spin than the Sun’s 27-day rotation.
