Aug 19, 2024 · Bede’s is a mid-sized all-through school with around 800 pupils – 300 of them boarders – and around 18% are international students. Class sizes are average for a public school, with around 15-20 students, which helps teachers to deliver a high degree of personalised learning.
Bede’s Senior School is an independent HMC day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 13-18. Located in the rural Sussex village of Upper Dicker just outside the South Downs National Park, the School currently educates 760 pupils, 300 of whom board in the five boarding houses.

Jul 1, 2023 · BOARDING. Full or weekly boarding are there for the taking. Bede’s also has a ‘Day Boarding’ wrap-around care concept, with study room, common rooms and a kitchen. These pupils are attached to a boarding house, complete their prep at the school and return home around 7.15pm.
