Oct 7, 2020 · Follow Me Boys does not. It felt like they ran out of plot after the Whitey adoption thing and were just padding it out to fill some kind of quota and get to dedication day. The first half follows one coherent narrative while the second feels like a disjointed package film.
The first 70-90 minutes of 'Follow Me, Boys!' is excellent, it's serious yet amusing. I felt connected to the characters and their storyline. Unfortunately, the film then adds on a pointless if solid extra 40-60 minutes.
