Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School (BUCHS) is an 11–18 girls, Roman Catholic, secondary school and mixed sixth form with academy status in Brentwood, Essex, England. It was established in 1900 and is an Ursuline school. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brentwood.
We are proud to be an Ursuline school, part of a global network of Ursuline schools founded on the life and work of St Angela Merici. Our Catholic identity is central to our community and finds expression in many ways, including whole-school celebrations in Brentwood Cathedral, assemblies, prayers, charitable activities and retreats.

Our Saints. St. Angela Merici was born in Desenzano, Italy in 1474. When she was in her early twenties, she had a vision from God that she was to found an institution dedicated to educating young women. In 1535, she founded the Order of St. Ursula.
