Sound Sultan (born Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi; November 27, 1976 – July 11, 2021) [1] was a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, comedian, and recording artist. He was regarded as one of the pacesetters of modern hip hop music in Nigeria.
He began his music career in the late 1990s and was known for his unique style that blended Afrobeat, hip-hop, and R&B. Sound Sultan released several hit songs, including "Jagbajantis" ,"Mathematics," and collaborated with many A-list artists throughout his career.

- Motherland. Sound Sultan’s activism and consciousness wrote several songs about Nigeria’s leadership. But the subject of one of his most popular songs, ‘Motherland’, was the average Nigerian.
- Human Being. Sound Sultan’s stellar songwriting meant that musicians could always count on him to deliver on collaborative projects. On ‘Human Being’ – alongside MI Abaga, who owns the song, and frequent collaborator 2Baba – Sound Sultan created a truly remarkable song about the darker parts of celebrity.
