Hawarden (/ ˈhɑːrdən / ⓘ; Welsh: Penarlâg) is a village and community in Flintshire, Wales. It is part of the Deeside conurbation on the Wales-England border and is home to Hawarden Castle.
Sep 13, 2015 · The Hawarden castle is privately owned and only open to the public twice a year. However, you can walk through the main entrance gates, wander through the parkland and see the castle. This castle was the final resting place for the last Prince Llewelyn of Wales. The village has a couple of tea shops and three pubs.
