Mar 20, 2024 · The Theory of Change (ToC) is a structured approach used in program planning and evaluation. It seeks to explain what impact is created by a programme or system, and how that impact was generated. ToC articulates how the change will happen, and as a result, influences the plan for investing the time and resources to contribute to that change.
This chapter considers each of the six criteria in greater detail. It explores what their definition means in practice, different elements of analysis and how the criteria can be applied in ways that critically reflect inclusion and equality.
Program evaluation is the systematic collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to understand the effectiveness and efficiency of a program. By assessing a program’s merit, worth, and value, stakeholders can ensure that resources are used optimally and that desired outcomes are achieved.
Feb 1, 2019 · In this study, we proposed to go beyond (a) a single program’s effect and (b) a program effect defined from only one perspective, and to conceptualize and demonstrate a typology of programs effects in the context of multiple programs in a system.
