Sep 9, 2019 · The last “beforeigners” that appear in the series are 19th century Norwegians from Christiania, which is what Oslo was formerly called. Although they speak Norwegian that is understandable for today’s Norwegian speakers, there are still some differences.

She cant speak either modern norwegian or the old norwegian laguage. I think she deserve to have award for her acting in this series and bigger roles in worldwide. She is from Finland.
Concerning Krista, she very much sounds Finnish speaking Norwegian. I would say the ones sounding closest to having a norse accent would be Urðr (Ágústa Eva Erlendsdóttir) and Kalv (Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson), with their Icelandic accents.

Julian Kirkeby Lysvik provided the Stone Agers' language, Alexander Kristoffersen Lykke translated Old Norwegian for Viking speech, and André Nilsson Dannevig tackled the 19th-century version of Norwegian.
