- The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020) A fascinating historical legal drama film, ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7‘ is directed by Aaron Sorkin. It chronicles the trial of several anti-Vietnam War protestors who crossed state lines intending to incite a riot at Chicago’s 1968 Democratic National Convention.
