Épagny Metz-Tessy ( French pronunciation: [epaɲi mɛtɛsi] [ 3]) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department of southeastern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 and consists of the former communes of Épagny and Metz-Tessy. [ 4] It is part of the urban area of Annecy.
Epagny-Metz-Tessy is born a new town in Haute-Savoie of the merger of Metz-Tessy Epagny and municipalities. This is the new common first authorized by the prefect in September 2015 and formally established on 1 January 2016. Located in the northern French Alps, Epagny-Metz-Tessy enjoys a privileged location.
