The Place Masséna is a historic square in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France. It was named for André Masséna. Its layout was designed by Joseph Vernier in 1843-1844. [1] The Place Masséna is the main square of the city.
Place Massena is Nice’s main square, and it is from here that it is worth starting your city tour. It is crossed by the Paillon Promenade built over the river.
