Dr. Bernadette Maryann Rostenkowski-Wolowitz, (née Rostenkowski), is a major character in The Big Bang Theory. She was a waitress at the Cheesecake Factory and has earned her Ph.D. in microbiology who has a lucrative job at the pharmaceutical company ZanGen.
