Stewart, who was born in 1960 and grew up in Redland, was already approaching two metres tall at age 14, helping him get into most of Bristol’s funk and reggae clubs.
Mark Stewart (10 August 1960 – 21 April 2023) was an English singer and founding member of the Pop Group. [2] A pioneer of post-punk and industrial music , he recorded for On-U Sound Records , Mute Records , and Future Noise Music, and released solo and collaborative output on several other independent labels such as Crippled Dick Hot Wax! and eMERGENCY heARTS.
